I do not have too many fashion rules, but one of my golden rules is no horizontal stripes. So when this dress 1st came out I said to myself it's a pity this print has those black horizontal stripes. I just don't think it's going work for me. Well after some time I reconsidered because I really do like the print. I am so glad that I purchased this dress. It looks so much better on me than I ever expected it to. The fit, the cut, the longer ength, the flair ...it is all perfect and that print with the foliage and the horizontal stripes is a lot more versatile than I ever expected it could be.

I am such a fan of Bernie’s dresses! This pattern is a black and white stripe with palm leaves- great timing from California summer into our spooky season! Love it!
